Pharmgate hires swine veterinarian Nic Lauterbach

 

New swine veterinarian will further support on-farm protocols.

WILMINGTON, N.C. [November 2, 2022] Pharmgate Animal Health has hired Dr. Nicholas Lauterbach, DVM, as a technical services veterinarian. Lauterbach will work with veterinarians and production teams at swine operations to help create and execute swine health protocols.

“Dr. Lauterbach brings valuable knowledge of swine production medicine to the team and will provide reliable support and recommendations to our customers,” says Chad Smith, DVM, Pharmgate vice president of global sales and marketing. “Our team continues to grow to meet the ever-changing challenges our customers face in pork production.”

Lauterbach most recently worked as a senior veterinarian at Smithfield Hog Production. He earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a doctorate in veterinary medicine from Iowa State University. He resides in Iowa.
