About Me

As a native Iowan, Dr. Nic knows pigs. Being from a row crop and livestock operation in the nation’s largest swine state, he loves helping livestock producers like his dad and brother. He used his Iowa State University veterinary degree as a senior veterinarian overseeing the health of 120,000 sows and 1.5 million finishing spaces throughout the Midwest for a large pig production system.

Now, he uses it in his travels across the country, grabbing a slice of Casey’s pizza on the way, to help producers and veterinarians find solutions to their health challenges. He knows pork producers need a variety of products for various challenges. Most importantly, he loves being a resource for producers at all different phases of production.

When he’s not helping pork producers, he’s outside with his wife and daughter, golfing or helping at the family farm.
