Pharmgate’s international presence continues to grow, with recent participation in two major swine industry events—Vietstock in Vietnam and ABRAVES in Brazil—highlighting both the diversity and resilience of global markets. These trade shows provided valuable opportunities to connect with customers, distributors, and veterinary professionals, and to gain firsthand insight into regional trends that are shaping the future of swine production.
Vietnam: Resilience and Innovation in Southeast Asia

At Vietstock, the atmosphere was optimistic, echoing sentiments shared earlier this year at VIV Bangkok. Despite economic pressures and flat demand, Vietnamese producers are reporting steady single-digit growth as they head into 2026. A key theme among attendees was technical innovation, particularly in biosecurity and vaccination protocols.
Pharmgate’s swine vaccine portfolio drew strong interest, especially the PRRSGard vaccine, a modified-live PRRS solution that has shown impressive efficacy. Discussions with the Vietnamese Department of Agriculture veterinarians underscored the importance of tailored solutions for local challenges. The official launch of PRRSGard in Vietnam is scheduled for Q1 2026, with producers already requesting follow-up meetings with our distributor, International Science Solutions Vietnam.
Brazil: Growth and Strategic Engagement in LATAM

Across the globe at ABRAVES in Brazil, the tone was equally positive. Accompanied by Dr. Chad Smith, our team met with Vetanco, Pharmgate’s LATAM distributor, and engaged in productive conversations with veterinarians and industry professionals. The South American swine market is experiencing strong growth, driven by shifting trade dynamics and increasing demand.
Unlike Southeast Asia, South America presents a distinct disease profile and production environment, requiring region-specific strategies. Pharmgate’s commitment to technical support and direct engagement remains central to our approach, ensuring that producers have access to the best solutions for their unique systems.
Global Trends and Regional Insights
While both regions are navigating economic headwinds, they share a common drive toward innovation and sustainable growth. In Vietnam, the focus is on resilience through technology, while in South America, the emphasis is on expansion and strategic adaptation. Regulatory environments, cultural nuances, and disease pressures vary significantly, but the need for effective, science-based solutions is universal.
Pharmgate’s ability to tailor its offerings and support to local needs is a key differentiator. Whether it’s launching new vaccines or strengthening distributor relationships, our global strategy is rooted in listening, learning, and leading with purpose.
Looking Ahead
As we move into 2026, Pharmgate is poised to deepen its impact across international markets. With new product launches, expanding partnerships, and a continued commitment to technical excellence, we’re excited to support swine producers in navigating the challenges and opportunities ahead.
To our partners in Vietnam, Brazil, and beyond—thank you for your trust, collaboration, and dedication to advancing animal health.
