(Wilmington, NC, June 11, 2018)<\/strong> \u2013 Pharmgate Animal Health welcomed two new members to the company\u2019s leadership team this week. Randy Buller joins Pharmgate Animal Health as Vice President of Global Sales, Marketing and Technical Service, and Dr. Charles Francisco, DVM, has been appointed as the company\u2019s Director of Veterinary Technical Services.<\/p>\n

Both moves reaffirm Pharmgate\u2019s focus on bringing industry-leading animal health products to producers and veterinarians while providing the very best in technical support and service.<\/p>\n

Randy brings more than 35 years of sales, marketing and management experience to the company. Prior to Pharmgate, he served as the President and CEO of Paragon Animal Health, LLC since 2017, and previously had spent time in leadership positions at Merial Ltd. and Newport Laboratories, as well as Boehringer Ingelheim, Eli Lilly & Company and Elanco. In his new role, Randy will oversee Pharmgate\u2019s sales, marketing and technical service departments.<\/p>\n

Randy\u2019s experience in market analysis, strategic planning and business development make him a great fit for Pharmgate Animal Health, said Colin Gray, Pharmgate President and CEO.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are confident Randy is going to bring strength and leadership to our entire organization, but specifically our sales, marketing and technical services teams,\u201d Gray said.<\/p>\n

Dr. Charles Francisco, DVM, will be responsible for leading Pharmgate\u2019s technical service team, specializing in both pharmaceuticals and biologicals, including porcine circovirus and mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.<\/p>\n

Prior to his role with Pharmgate Animal Health, Dr. Francisco was the Director of Technical Service for JBS United Animal Health. He also worked at Merck Animal Health as Director of Swine Veterinary Technical Services after serving as a Technical Service Veterinarian for Intervet Schering-Plough and Hoechst Roussel Agri Vet.<\/p>\n

\u201cBringing my swine health and veterinary services expertise to Pharmgate is an opportunity that I believe will help drive our technical service levels and product development to the next level for our customers,\u201d Dr. Francisco said. \u201cThe opportunity to join a growing, exciting organization with such focus on product and customer support is a great fit to what I\u2019ll bring to the team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also joining the Pharmgate Technical Services team is Dr. Fabian Chamba as Research Scientist\/Clinical Development. Chamba has spent nearly three years as a research assistant at the University of Minnesota pursuing his PhD while specializing in influenza epidemiology in pigs, including the transmission of swine flux to piglets.<\/p>\n
